My mother, being 4 hours away (and very persistent) has urged me to begin documenting the journey of my first pregnancy. So, here it goes...
Here is my 9 week ultrasound. What a difference!
Here is my last ultrasound at 13 weeks! You can see arm bones, leg bones, feet, hands, even fingers! Here is the whole body, head to the left, legs curled up on the right.
Here is an arm and fingers on the left, and a leg and foot on the right.
I am now 13 weeks and 5 days pregnant! It has been a roller coaster ride already, as I have been quite ill until the last week or so. I am slowly beginning to feel a little better. I am fairly sure, however, that I won't ever feel entirely "normal" again! Matthew and Fischer are SO excited, and they have been taking GREAT care of me! Let's see if I can get everyone up to date.

There's my little Bean!! Tell it Aunt Aleia says...Hiiiiiii. Lovin the belly! I've waited many a year to see a belly sitting atop your size 0 frame, but I never realized how wonderful it would look on you! You and the bean are so photogenic. Love you and can't wait to visit!

I'm so excited that you started this…and just to please me (or shut me up!). Looks like my "persistence" paid off! I hate being so far away, but this will definitely make it easier. They're teasing me at work saying that I'll have a helicopter on standby around August 6 but, of course, that's not true--I'll be moving in around mid July!!
You look so cute, and I have to say that's the most beautiful little baby I've ever seen! Take care, and keep updating for us. I love you all and hope to see you soon.

Congratulations! I am happy for all of you! I am glad your mom insisted that you do this so now I can watch you grow too. Can't wait to see the "belly shot" mid July -UGH! Hang in there.
